We’ve got news! The Our Agency Project has launched
SHARC is working in partnership with VMIAC to launch Our Agency, a new place and space for people with lived experience of mental illness and psychological distress to support mental health and wellbeing.
The Project comes off the back of Recommendation 29 of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System and is an essential part of responding to the Royal Commission. The Agency will be run by people with their own lived experience of mental illness and psychological distress and will provide wellbeing services, training, and will provide a space for innovative collaboration.
Phase one is underway, with lot’s more work to come. We’re very excited to be part of this project and look forward to seeing the Agency operational.
