International Overdose Awareness Day 2024 — “Together We Can”

No one should stand alone in our fight to end overdose.

Join us to understand how this affects each one of us. Join us in remembering the loved ones we have lost. It’s time to Remember. It’s time to Act. #TogetherWeCan

When: 3rd September 2024, 12pm to 1pm
RSVP: communications@sharc.org.au

International Overdose Awareness Day is the world’s largest annual campaign to acknowledge and end overdose. The campaign raises awareness of overdose, which is one of the world’s worst public health crises, and stimulates action and discussion about evidence-based overdose prevention and drug policy. The campaign also acknowledges the profound grief felt by all those affected by overdose. This year’s theme is ‘Together We Can’.

SHARC invites you to join us for reflection, education, and community. No one should stand alone in our fight to end overdose — and this year’s theme underlines that with the power of our shared determination. Our voices are stronger together.

Join us to understand how this affects each one of us. Join us in remembering the loved ones we have lost. It’s time to Remember. It’s time to Act.
