Renegotiating Relationships provides practical support and education to people whose lives have been impacted by drug and alcohol use and imprisonment.
It aims to assist people in maintaining positive, meaningful relationships with, self, family and community after and during a custodial sentence, and provide support to family members of the individual.
RNR staff deliver educational group sessions facilitated in Victorian prisons as part of the Transitional Assistance Program funded by Justice Department, and provide 1:1 (i.e. one-on-one) post support for people exiting prison.
For families and significant others impacted by another’s custodial sentence relating to alcohol and drugs, RNR provide a Helpline, family counselling, education programs and State wide support groups.
