The Self Help Addiction Resource Centre Inc. is a community based non government organisation. SHARC provides a range of services that include residential, support of families, advocacy, education and training and research.

SHARC has been operating for nearly 10 years in Victoria. Our services, primarily targeted to those with significant drug and alcohol problems, their families and friends, are underpinned by principles of self help and peer support. Celebrating empowerment, self determination and mutuality, we believe that recovery from addiction is best served when people who have the problem are a part of the solution.
